Hypalon® chlorosulfonated polyethylene and Vamac® ethylene acrylic elastomers have demonstrated their suitability in both power steering tube and cover applications and have become the most widely specified material in power steering hose manufacture. The proven construction offers excellent heat resistance and the high strength coupling integrity needed for long-term impulse-side life. Hypalon® and Vamac® also deliver the necessary heat, oil, and ozone resistance for long life in the demanding conditions of transmission and engine oil cooler hose applications.
